What are the features of B2B/Wholesale Solution?

As its name suggests, our B2B/Wholesale Solution app offers a complete solution for B2B/Wholesale merchant to:

  • Create multiple registration forms to classify customers from the start.
  • Auto-add tags for customers based on smart conditions
  • Set up prices for products based on customers/customer tags
  • Set up automatic tier-discount based on product quantities in orders
  • Set up checkout restrictions if customers do not qualify for a minimum order amount/quantity

Wholesale Registration Forms

By default, Shopify allows all customers to create an account, which is great for normal B2C/retail customers. The more, the merrier.

However, if you run a B2B website, you will want to tightly manage customers from registration. You also need to collect more information to verify their accounts.

With the Wholesale Registration Forms feature in the B2B/Wholesale Solution app, you can:

  • Expand the default form with more useful customer fields in 9 input types (EU VAT validation; Multiple checkboxes; Dropdown selections; Radio options; Date field; etc.)
  • Create separate Registration forms besides the default forms.
  • Manage all registrations in the grid for further action and analytics.
  • Review and approve registrations before creating a customer account on Shopify.
  • Auto-add a tag for approved customers to filter them out more easily.
  • Sync Custom Fields information with Shopify Customer Notes.
  • Email notifications to store owners about new registrations.

Auto Tag for Customers

Tags are very common and critical in Shopify to categorize customers/products in groups based on their characteristics. Here, we focus on customer tags.

With the Wholesale Registration Forms, you can add a tag for customers right after their registration. How about the existing customers?

Then, you can make use of our Auto Tag feature.

  • Add customer tags based on “Customer Created”
  • Add customer tags based on “Order Created”
  • Add customer tags based on “Order Paid”
  • Add customer tags based on “Order Fulfilled”
  • Add customer tags based on “Order Cancelled”
  • Add tags based on  smart conditions: filter from customers' general information or custom fields
  • Also, add custom notes for chosen accounts
  • Update tags for existing customers with rules

Quantity Breaks Based on Product Quantity in Order

Apart from discounting individual product prices, B2B and Wholesale sellers also want to create tiered pricing & volume discounts at checkout to encourage order values per customer, for example, “Buy X to get Y% discount.”

At that time, our app will help:

  • Choose applied customers/products with specific tag(s)
  • Set up tier discounts based on variants’ quantity, products’ quantity, and order’s quantity
  • Apply various discount types: fixed prices, fix percentage reduction & fix amount reduction
  • Design a tier-pricing table to show on product pages and cart pages
  • Integrate Custom Pricing & Quantity Break display on cart pages

Custom Prices for Products

Back then, if you sell for different customer groups - you will have to create different product pages or even create different stores. This requires time and human resources to manage all products. Not to mention, the duplication of content will affect your pages’ ranking.

With the Custom Prices features of the B2B/Wholesale Solution app, you can:

  • Set up discounted prices for products/collections based on customers/tags
  • Set the prices of chosen products to a specific amount
  • Reduce the prices of chosen products by a specific percentage
  • Reduce the prices of chosen products by a specific amount

This feature is only available on Advanced plan ($50/mon).

Advanced Minimum Order to Checkout 

You can also restrict customer's checkout if they do not qualify for a minimum order amount/quantity. This feature can help you manage wholesalers' purchases and your production cost more efficiently. 

This feature allows you to:

  • Choose applied wholesalers/customers based on their tag(s)
  • Choose applied products based on collections or specific tag(s)
  • Decide to restrict customers' checkout actions on minimum order quantity or order amount
  • Decide the minimum number of order quantity/amount to be qualified for checkout
  • Work on Cart page and Buy It Now button

This feature is only available on Advanced plan ($50/mon).

Tax Exempt

You can exempt the tax fee for your customers if they have validated EU VAT numbers by using this feature.

This feature allows you to:

  • Automatic or manual feature installation.
  • Detect valid EU VAT numbers and automatically deduct VAT for those orders.
  • Customer’s EU VAT number will be added to their order note.
  • Customer’s EU VAT number will be added to their order record.

This feature is only available on Advanced plan ($50/mon).
