Installation Guide

After finishing purchasing process, we will immediately send you an email containing the link to download this extension.

(Please turn off Merge-JS before installing the module. Only Turn on Merge-JS when finishing the installation).

1. Install the extension(s)

Step 1:

Unzip the file.

Step 2:

Create another directory called app/code/Bss/MODULENAME/ where MODULENAME must be replaced by the modules internal identifier.

You can find it in the "composer.json" file in the extension ZIP file you downloaded, look at the node "psr-4". For example, it could say "Bss\\AjaxCart\\" or "Bss\\OneStepCheckout\\" there, then the MODULENAME is the part after \\ and before \\, so in our examples AjaxCart" or "OneStepCheckout". This is what you call the directory, then, for example app/code/Bss/AjaxCart, and you put the contents of the extension ZIP file in there.

Step 3:

Upload the directory app/code/Bss/MODULENAME/ into the root directory of your Magento installation. The root directory of Magento is the directory that contains the directories "app", "bin", "lib" and more. All directories should match the existing directory structure.

Step 4:

Go to Magento 2 root directory.

Run: php bin/magento setup:upgrade.

Step5:

Run: php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy.

Step 6:

Clear all Caches.

2. Install/Uninstall/Disable the Hyva Theme Compatibility package

2.1. To install the Hyva compatibility package:

First and foremost, install the .zip package following instruction in part 1 above.

After finishing installing the .zip package, follow the guide below, which ONLY used for the Hyva theme compatibility packages of BSS Breadcrumbs, BSS SEO Toolbar, BSS Rich Snippets and BSS HTML Sitemap. The other child modules of SEO Extensions are already compatible with Hyva theme, so you would not need to install hyva-compat versions of these modules.

2.1.1. Install via composer, run command:
composer require hyva-themes/MODULENAME

2.1.2.Install via gitlab, run command:
composer config repositories.hyva-themes/magento2-compat-module-fallback git git@gitlab.hyva.io:hyva-themes/magento2-compat-module-fallback.git
composer config repositories.hyva-themes/MODULENAME git git@gitlab.hyva.io:hyva-themes/hyva-compat/MODULENAME.git
composer require hyva-themes/MODULENAME:dev-main

2.2. To disable the Hyva compatibility package, run commands:
php bin/magento module:disable Hyva_MODULENAME

2.3. To uninstall the Hyva compatibility package, run commands:
Run composer remove hyva-themes/MODULENAME

IMPORTANT: For BSS HTML Sitemap package, you would also need to install the Hyva Compat Base module.

In this case, MODULENAME should be replaced with internal identifier of the module you want to install.
